OK, first a confession -- the name of this product is actually "Kernel Season's White Cheddar Popcorn Seasoning", but of course we're not going to use it for popcorn, we're going to use it for vegetables and other diet conscious foods.

In my nearly-completed quest to make a "diet friendly" version of macaroni and cheese I discovered this product and one other (Molly McButter Cheese, reviewed separately) that are simply fantastic.

This is a cheese flavored powder that you can shake on things like broccoli, etc.  It is low calorie, fat, carb, etc. when used in moderation and really packs a punch of flavor.  I spray my broccoli with ICBINB spray, and then give a good shaking of this on top, and it really is great.

I found this at Super Wal-Mart near the popcorn.  In looking for a picture of it for the review, I found their website and felt like I'd stumbled across buried treasure.  Turns out they make these low calorie powders in a ton of flavors including Sour Cream and Onion, BBQ, and a whole lot more.  They had a web special where if you order 10 flavors you get free shipping, so of course I did that.  I ordered the Butter, Nacho Cheddar, Parmesan and Garlic, Ranch, Sour Cream & Onion, Caramel, Jalapeno, Cajun, Barbecue, and Chocolate Marshmallow.  I didn't order the White Cheddar (already have it), Popcorn Salt (not using on popcorn), Kettle Corn (not using on popcorn), or Apple Cinnamon (would have been good, but had to make a choice).

Look for reviews of the other flavors once I get them and have a chance to try them.  These will be great for making crunchy baked snacks out of Joseph's Low Carb Pitas (need to post a recipe for that sometime).

This stuff isn't allowed on strict, but if someone submitted it, maybe it could get approved.
