Dreamfields has a line of pasta made from durum wheat semolina, that it claims has only 5 grams of digestible carbs per 56g serving, a glycemic index of 13 (compared to regular pasta at 38), and twice the fibre of regular pasta. It comes in 6 shapes: Lasagna, Rotini, Spaghetti, Linguine, Elbows, and Penne Rigate.

This pasta is great especially given the carb levels.  I can't tell the difference between this pasta and any other whole wheat pasta (or white pasta for that matter).  A great choice if you choose to have pasta on maintenance.

I could not tell the difference of the regular pasta that I use to use and this one.  I did have a slight tummy ache after eating the pasta.......but that could have been due to overindulging, as that is very easy to do with pasta.

I have always loved pasta and this stuff is great.  My hubby has always eaten whole wheat pasta and I just couldn't quite ever acquire the taste for it before the diet.  So, after the diet I decided to give this a try.  I could not tell the difference between this and regular white pasta.  It tastes great!!!  I will eat it as a treat in a small quantity, but it hits the right spot!!
