Of course I just remembered that you guys in Canada already had your Thanksgiving, so you may have already gotten the above. †Maybe not breaking news after all. † :)

Also, when it was given to me I was told I could post it.

Maybe it was made available at some of the other clinics but not at the Christy Corner location in Edmonton.

This will still come in handy for Christmas.

Thanks Brian.

Nope ... never saw it before.  It certainly would have been handy last week though!

I know at the Dr. B clinic in Oshawa they had a print out available but it only listed a recipe for a stuffiing that was made of allowed foods.  I can say that would have been a pretty tasty meal.  Oh and this is the second time this week I have heard about the faux mashed potatoes, I am not sure about mashed cauliflower though, lol.

Thanks Brian.  My clinic never handed that out.  It will come in handy at Christmas time!

has anybody tried the "mashed" "potatoes"??
They do NOT sound like they would taste like potatoes to me and frankly, I am scared to try them!
Yes, they would LOOK like potatoes...but, it is the TASTE that I would want!

mmm...but, I tell you....the rest sounds FABULOUS!

Anyone?

Thanks
Geri

I've had creamed cauliflower "faxutatoes" at a restaurant before and they were pretty tasty.  Didn't taste like mashed potatoes, but served about the same function in the meal (to complement the meat).

this is exactly what i need!!

i don't care how anything tastes, i just want to LOOK normal.

the worst part of dieting for me is making OTHERS feel uncomfortable that i am not enjoying myself, even when i am very satisfied with what i am eating!

I have tried mashed cauliflower. I really like it. No it doesn't taste like potatoes. But it's a nice change in texture and taste. I really enjoy trying new things form the recipe book. I ate beef heart yesterday, it was yummy. Variety is the spice of life right? hehe for me it is anyway! enjoy:O
